Trivia about the 2007 United Nations Month Celebration

The United Nations will once again celebrate the UN Month this October. The stamp are part of the Millennium Campaign that focuses on our common vision of a world without poverty towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. The stamp designs for this year is a sequel to last year’s “Stand Up” Millennium campaign.

It is a global rallying cry against poverty, resonating throughout the four corners of the globe. This is to help the UN Headquarters promote awareness of this campaign and to sustain its momentum.
