Design: | The Mary Johnston Hospital is one of the historical landmarks in the city of Manila. Founded in 1906 t: Dr. Rebecca Parish, a Methodist missionary from Indiana, USA, the two- story building built in 190 housing 55 patients has been rebuilt into a 150-bed more modern building. As it celebrates its Centenni, in 2006, MJH continues to share Christ’s healing love to all patients regardless of color, creed, financial capability or political persuasion. To its dedicated staff, healing can only come from caring in the Spirit the Great Physician. |
Stamps and Official First Day Covers will be available starting January 20, 2006 at the Philatelic Service, Door 203, Liwasang Bonifacio, 100 Manila and all Regional Offices of the Philippine Postal Corporation.
