Stamps featuring the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT)

The Philippine Postal Corporation is coming up with the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT)-June as the National ICT Month stamps, which will be issued on June 13, 2011. It is classified as a “Special” kind of issue with a denomination of P 7.00 and quantity of 104,000 pieces.

Let’s celebrate the National ICT Month this June! With the theme, “A Digitally Empowered Philippines”, the event aims to actively promote, enhance and instill nationwide awareness and appreciation on the importance and value of ICT to different sectors. The activities lined up include, among others, the formal launch of the Philippine Digital Strategy 2011-2016, the launch of the commemorative stamp for the National ICT Month 2011, and the celebration of the 40th Founding Anniversary of the National Computer Center. All stakeholders from the private sector, academe, civil society and government, are encouraged to likewise organize their respective activities in line with celebrating the milestones of this event.
